Medis employs a higly qualified staff of 200 people, more than 140 with academic degree in pharmacy, chemistry, medicine and life sciences or economics, 60% of them operating in the field of sales and marketing.
Relatively flat organisational structure allows almost instant creation of small project teams. We are currently present in more than 10 different countries and we consider ourselves lucky to work in a multicultural environment where everyone is welcomed to fit in and encouraged to stand out when necessary. We promote tolerance and learn from differences.
Being aware that employees are critical to our success, we are dedicated to keeping Medis a great place to work - even when not working. This is marked with corporate sport events, picnics and celebrations.
We review the organisational climate with a yearly internal research. In spite of the fast growth and entrance to new markets, the results are still excellent (above 5 on the ladder of 7). Among highest marked fields are employee status, management assesment, working environment, inter-employee relations both inside and outside the sector and level of responsibility.
Additional confirmation of internal results was also ranking Medis among the best Slovenian employers in 2007, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012 when we were finalists of external study Zlata nit (the Golden Thread Award).
There is no place for daily routine in Medis, our driving force is to challenge and to better results from yesterday. Working in Medis is therefore demanding but highly rewarding, both personally and professionally.
