Polish Quintet and Slovene pianist Ana Šinkovec

To honour 200th birth anniversary of the famous Polish composer F. Chopin, Polish Embassy of Slovenia invited internationally acclaimed string quintet Multicamerata to perform in Slovenia together with a soloist, pianist Ana Šinkovec.

They will perform Chopin's 1 Piano Concerto in e-minor, one with most beloved melodies ever written for piano.Concerts will be held on:

  • 11 October in Novo mesto at 7pm
  • 13 October in Narodni dom Union Hall at 7pm

Ana Sinkovec and Multicamerata

Ana Šinkovec graduated cum laude at 20 by playing Tchaikovsky’s 1st Piano Concerto with the Slovenian Philharmonic. In 2008 she finished master studies at Brussel’s Royal Conservatory.

She has special affinity to Chopin’s and Rachmaninoff’s works since very young. She participated in many international festivals and masterclasses with noted pedagogues and pianists, such as, Konstantin Bogino, Vladimir Ogarkov, Lazar Berman, Karl-Heinz Kämmerling, Rita Kinka, Jakob Lateiner, Vasilia Efsthadiadou, Igor Lazko, Sijavuš Gadžijev, Jean-Phillip Collard, Alfredo Perl, Boris Petrushansky.

Ana is award winner of many international and national competitions. In 1999 and 2001 she received Linadu Preis for the most promising pianist of the festival and masterclass under Karl-Heinz Kammerling.

Currently she studies in Bergamo with Konstantin Bogino.
