Medis among the finalists of the Golden Thread also this year

On Friday 3 February 2012, the Slovenian newspaper publisher Dnevnik announced 21 finalists of this year’s Golden Thread among 101 best employers in Slovenia. Medis Pharmaceuticals ranked among the finalists for the fourth consecutive year.

The Golden Thread is a media-research project, a result of an initiative of Dnevnik, and it represents a selection of the best employers all over Slovenia. The project is designed to promote the best employers, but also to check the quality of the relationship between the company and employees. The biggest added value of the project is the survey among the employees which provides a comprehensive look at the development of the company and employees in connection with the successfulness.

The day after the declaration of the finalists, Dnevnik published the first responses of the key persons in companies that were ranked among the 21 finalists of the Golden Thread 2011.

Mr Tone Strnad, General Manager of Medis Pharmaceuticals, stresses:
"The value of our company is its employees. This is our important and written value: to form groups of committed and satisfied employees as well as provide good human relations. Employees are aware that Medis is a responsible employer, and they return it with high productivity. We have been collaborating with the Golden Thread since its beginning and we are regularly ranked among the finalists. The classification serves us as an important comparison with other companies in Slovenia."

The Director also ensures that despite the crisis Medis still grows and therefore it can intensively employ. "We are aware that our strengths have been increasingly recognized by the potential candidates at job interviews, and they are undoubtedly influenced by regular awards of the Golden Thread", he adds.
That is why Medis Pharmaceuticals was – for the fourth time – recognized as one of the best employers in terms of creative, successful and effective development of employees and the company.
